Bruce Wayne, who witnessed the murder of his billionaire parents as a child, swore to avenge their deaths. He trained extensively to achieve mental and physical perfection, mastering martial arts, detective skills, and criminal psychology. Costumed as a bat to prey on the fears of criminals, and utilizing a high-tech arsenal, he became the legendary Batman.
How does Joker's toxin get through Flash's system?
Plot. Like every encounter of Batman-mythos with other super-types.
It was briefly explained that Joker "individuated" his new pathogen to each Justice Leaguer's specific powers. For Flash, Joker used "magnetized filaments."
I don't see the need for Superman fans to be upset tbh.
Agreed. There's huge context to the fight, and Clark had Bruce at his mercy until he did the typical villain taunting since he was all Jokered-up.
Regardless, plenty of villain give Clark a hard time due to brains and preparation (Luthor anyone?) I don't see why this is a big deal, or any different.
The gum-shot was hilariously awesome though. Bats is a boss, no doubt.

Indeed, and Bruce had Clark at his mercy before that, when he was pummeling Clark with his "red sun knuckles."
Not entirely sure why Snyder had Bruce throw Clark hundreds of feet away from him at that point... it didn't really make sense for him to do that in the context of the story... but, oh well. I don't think it was Clark jumping away on his own because Bruce had hands on him in the prior panel and there were no visual queues to suggest that Clark was getting ready to jump away or even capable of jumping at that moment, but it is admittedly a little unclear.
