    im new to getting comics and i have been getting the batman series (new 52) and i am trying to figure out what comics are based first, for example is batman:Detective comics based before batman or is it the other way around. this is all very confusing for me and would love some help.

    The Batman timeline is especially schewed. Do not try to understand it. Just read. For your question, Batman regularly appears in 5-7 books a month. Theres no definite order of events unless its stated.
