Batman Comic, should I get into the series?

He trained extensively to achieve both mental and physical perfection, mastering detective skills, martial arts, and criminal psychology. Costumed as a bat to prey on criminals' fear and utilizing a high-tech arsenal in his crusade to rid Gotham City of crime, the legendary Batman was born.

It's good, and it's the flagship Batman/Bat-family title. If you want to know what's going on with Bruce, this is it.

Snyder's run has been phenomenal. Definitely pick Batman up

Your best bet is the namesake title in the New 52. Batman & Robin is getting all sorts of acclaim as well and The Dark Knight is picking up steam.

I won't be able to get all of the Batman comics (Up to issue 14?), but do you guys think I can just jump in? I know I won't get some things, but would it be wise.
