Hi everyone,

For a while I've been wanting to go dig deep and explore some of Batman's oldest adventures. I have yet to decide on the best way to do so, but the Batman Chronicles have captured my eye. What do you guys think, is it any good and is it worth the price?

(For the sake of clarity, I am talking about the collected editions of the really early Batman comics, not the 1995 series of the same name.)

I don't know really, how old are the stories?

@rustyroy: The oldest. Oldest as in Detective Comics # 27-85, Batman # 1-21, and World's Finest Comics # 1-12. They are spread over 11 volumes costing 14.99 dollars each.
