i know there has been a couple of batman related chess boards, but this one looks really good plus there are no repeats! (which can be good or bad depending on how you look at it, could get confusing when playing)

the thing that turns me off is the fact that these are made by the same guys who make the lead based figures (?) and that it'll probably cost a lot to buy them all...but nonetheless, i'll probably start collecting these too...

The overall idea is great and I even agree with most of the officers but I would have preferred to have unnamed (though still unique) thugs/cops as pawns instead of established characters (I just feel like they are treated unfairly by being reduced to pawns). Still this looks VERY cool and adds a new dimension to chess. I think I as a passionate chess player would enjoy pieces like that and will probably even start collecting them.

i think this is cool but i would rather a Justice League version of it or an entire DCU Chess set. You could choose which character is which piece in the game (by simply detaching the characters action figure and placing it on your choice of pedistals).

Wow i just came up with a great idea IMO.lol. I would put the justice league as my back 8 and put side kicks (maybe the Teen Titans) as my pawns. I would then put together my own version of the Inustice League and place them as my opposing color with clones and the rogues as my pawns
