I personally think that Batman would be better off without all these superheoreoes like Superman,Green lantern and Wonder Woman, they are all boring and uninteresting and dont fit in with the universe

I believe Batman should move into his own universe, highly doubt it would ever happen since DC own Batman and make alot of money from him, but still anyone else agree with me??

While I do like self-contained Batman stories, I also enjoy him with the Justice League. Wouldn't be the same without Batman!

Nah. The great thing about Batman is that he can have amazing stories when he's alone, when he's with any number of his side-kicks/partners, or when he's teamed up with any number of heroes regardless of their histories of powers (i.e. Justice League). It'd be limiting him to have him soley work alone just as much as it would to have him soley work on a team all of the time.

Ya I agree, I would also add that I love the Batman/Superman dynamic.

Just buy the Batman titles only which seldom feature guest stars anyway. I think dc should avoid guest appearances and crossovers in solo titles bec. most people are not interested in other super heroes.

@colonyofcells: Eh not necessarily avoid it, but make it definitely a guest thing. I always find it fun when a character outside of the Batman world is a guest star. But it totally shouldn't be every issue, or even every arch. BUt on the occasion, hey why not, its fun!

Ironically I might be in favor of this idea but for the opposite reason; I don't care for Batman. But I think me and OP both recognize the same thing, which is that in terms of Batman series having a different tone from most of the others, there is some logic to the idea of making Batman separate.

But I was under the impression that Batman has ties to a lot of the DC comics now. (I assume it's because he is DC's most successful brand) The possible other conundrum is the Robin(s), it means they would have to have their history with Batman erased.

    NO!

Just look at the Hush storyline. Epic because it has the entire Bat family involved.
