Who the hell was asking for batwoman and batwing to appear in animation? Their the most irrelevant members of the bay family if you can even call them a part of it cus they don't hang out.

Can't believe we're stuck getting 2 batman and 1 JL films a year. DC has such a hard on for either of these two that they won't even give the teen titans their own damn movie in gear that it may not sell.

Really? Batwing and Batwoman and still no Tim Drake? The people making this series must really not like him. They even replaced him with Dick in the first movie.

Generic Inception sound effects kind of ruined the mood for me.

It also seems like they are either trying to introduce too many character for a short animated movie.

If this is supposed to be a film for die hard fans who know all the characters, then why not truly adapt the universe with appearances with Batgirl and Red Robin.

I still don't like how DiDio made Bat-Woman a part of the Family. When she wasn't a part of it, nor wanted to be. But nope, had to shove her into something she isn't/wasn't a part of, and even now still doesn't feel like a part of it.

Also Damian sucks, and needs to go away an be forgotten forever.

DC and Marvel animated movies have stink for the past few years.

Stop outsourcing the studios and write something with substance.

Trailer has been out for a few months actually and it's pretty meh imo. Still I thought BvR was really good but the other 3 movies to come out of this universe have been rubbish.

On the plus side it's cool to see them giving attention to lesser known villains and characters,really hope they dont botch Dick and his run with Damian.

Diversity I guess,besides both Luke and Kate have been better written in the new-52 and aren't generic/replaceable like the ex Robins/Batgirls.

These movies being mostly terrible aside complaining about Todd and Drake is just horse crap,did Damian fans complain about him not being in Under the Hood or the Arkham Games? These movies aren't about Todd and Drake,people need to accept that and get over it. Besides there is nothing they can do with either of them anyway,Todd's death and resurrection is the only Batworthy story he has been in and it's been adapted twice in different media. Drake has been obsolete for more than a decade,he lost his relevance the moment DC took him from layman to Batman jr,except Damian is Batman jr and he's much better at it.

Um he's actually nothing like either Jason or Terry.

Of course he is not, he is boring and plain.

Why is Batwoman using guns?

On the one hand, I've always really wanted to see Batwoman featured in a film.

On the other hand, tacking her on as part of the Bat Family (from which she is almost completely separate in comics), AND having her use guns for no reason both seem like changes made in poor taste.

DC really needs to make a decision with the future films. Either:

A.) Do a FAITHFUL adaptation of an existing story. Or

B.) Create a completely original story.

These films that are blends of various different comic stories just are not working. And Batman vs. Robin was adequate, it still paled in comparison to the DCAOMs before this ridiculous shared universe that LITERALLY NOBODY cares about.

Nop, i thinking of Damian Wayne.

The reason they have too push him this hard, is because he sucks as a character and is not growing organically into the mainstream.

Even when he has the Wayne last name, he is the lamest Robin of all time, because they try to make him so hardcore.

No one would care for him if his last name was Jones and not Wayne.

@supbatz: They're done with adaptations as far their new universe is concerned, from next year and on the movies will be original altogether.

They push him because he's the current Robin and is coming off the success of Grant Morrison.

Nobody would care for Jason if he never had his brain splattered all over the wall by the Joker either and he's a Wayne because he's Bruce's son,you cannot "change" his name.It's the foundation on which his character is built,he's the heir of 2 legacies, his name has particular context and symbolism which was mentioned with in the pages of a comic itself,it's not random, change his name and you change his character.

Either way Damian has managed to create his own villains( Heretic,Nobody,Prof Pyg,Flamingo,even Mike Lane before he was reformed, and others) and supporting characters (Alfred the cat,Titus,Batcow,Maya Ducard and Goliath,even Colin Wilkes), he's associated with Grant Morrison's run primarily and Tomasi then,to an extent even Dini arguably(Streets of Gotham), these runs were well regarded all things considered. Jason Todd has nothing to show,he has no villains,no supporting characters(aside from the one's stolen from Dick) and no story apart from Under the Red Hood,he's associated with Lobdell and Winick...do I even need to explain this?Damian has contributed far more to the Bat mythos and that's not even debatable.

Tim Drake is a character out of time,the fact he needs Batman Beyond mythology to which he had no prior history or even a semblance of a connection to stay relevant is proof enough. Drake is redundant and Todd is in severe need of good writers,infact the only reason the latter is being pushed is because of the rumoured Affleck movie, critical response to his stories has been overwhelmingly negative for years and sales are dismal right now.
