Today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment confirmed that Deathstroke will be a fully playable character in the challenge mode for Batman: Arkham Origins™. Fans who pre-order the game for Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 system orWindows PC will receive exclusive early access to the Deathstroke pack.

Deathstroke will come complete with his own unique weapons and special moves, and will be playable in all challenge maps in the game, as well as two additional challenge maps that will be included with the pack. The pack will also contain two alternate Deathstroke character skins.

Developed by WB Games Montréal, Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline set several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Taking place before the rise of Gotham City’s most dangerous criminals, the game showcases a young and unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. As the story unfolds, players will meet many important characters for the first time and forge key relationships.

Batman: Arkham Origins is the next installment in the blockbuster Batman: Arkham videogame franchise and will be available for the Xbox 360®, PS3™, the Wii U™ system, and Windows PC. The game will release worldwide Oct. 25, 2013 along with Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate™ for Nintendo 3DS™ handheld system and PlayStation®Vita handheld entertainment system.

The trailer is gorgeous! No surprises as to who the assassins are thus far (they were the first two who sprang to mind when I heard of the storyline), but that's perfect. These guys belong in a set-up like this. I love that Black Mask is finally getting some love. I was bummed that we got a prequel instead of the next chapter in the Arkham series, but this is shaping up to be a nice one.

Too bad that after the Final Fantasy movie, Hollywood doesn't believe in adult animation unless James Cameron is attached.

I really hope that the team that makes the Justice League movie uses this level of realism for Batman. I want him to be able to fight, goshdarnit!

It seems that it's really easy for people to get Batman post-Nolan. Just tell a crime or ninja story. I wish they understood Wonder Woman (Greek Fantasy like God of War or Clash of the Titans), Green Lantern (Space Opera like Star Trek or Star Wars), or Flash (Time Cop like Prince of Persia, kinda?) as well. Maybe they will after the Justice League movie.

The premise for the game is cool as long as they actually stick to assassins and gangs for the villains However if they just put characters like Joker in for the sake of using the Joker, then im going to have serious problems with the story.

And even if the premise is cool, I can't help but worry that the execution won't be. With Rocksteady not developing we can only hope that its handled as well as the other games in the series.

Kevin Conroy told the crowds at the Dallas Comic-con that he will be involved in the game, but Joystiq have confirmed that Roger Craig Smith will be playing a younger Batman, while Troy Baker is taking up the Joker.

They're are going to have to start using some obscure characters because they know fans don't want to fight some people over and over. I wouldn't be surpised if Green Arrow villains start to show up.

That was a fun trailer. Great action., solid voice acting, and accurate characterization. Get back to me when there's gameplay.

Holy Majoly! What a trailer! DC just go release stuff like this at the cinema! I'm so excited for this game now. May go for a pre-order too.

My brother said Rocksteady will release another game next year and Kevin Conroy will be Batman. I'm glad he isn't a young Batman, but I've already took heat from that comment from my brother all month lol.

The voice of the first masked goon in this trailer is one of the Jokers men who robbed the bank at the start of The Dark Knight, his mask is also the same just all black.

Beastly trailer, but I would've preferred Ron Perlman doing the voice for Deathstroke/Slade.

The trailer was beautiful but the gameplay will be the real deciding factor for me. I do agree that I wish a full length movie with this level of quality would be great. The CG Final Fantasy movie tanked because it nothing to do with the game.

This is all bluster, they haven't shown anything of value or given me any reason why I should get this game yet also with no Conroy and no Rocksteady it's not stacked in it's favour

Without gameplay footage this trailer does as little for me as the previous teaser. Anyone can put together a pretty cinematic.
