Batman: Arkham City - Skins Pack Trailer
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment have confirmed that the Arkham City Skins Pack is available now in the Xbox LIVE® Marketplace for 400 Microsoft Points and for Games for Windows for $4.99. The pack is also available in North America in the PlayStation®Network for $4.99.
Included in the pack are seven skins:
· 1970s Batsuit Skin
· Year One Batman Skin
· The Dark Knight Returns Skin
· Earth One Batman Skin
· Batman Beyond Batman Skin
· Animated Batman Skin
· Sinestro Corps Batman Skin
All of those Batman ones are cool up until the Sinetro core one. That one makes no damn sense. Though, since the Dark Knight version has that large beefy body. I kind of wish the 70's version had Adam West's belly.
It would also be cool if there was a DLC pack that just replaced all the characters with their Batman: The Animated Series designs. That would be an awesome new game plus option.
The best Batsuit is the one that came free with the game. that's all I need, well that and my batfist
I wish this would have been included on the game but oh well, still love Arkham City. I read somewhere they were gonna add the incorporated suit later, hope that's true.
the Sinestro Corps costume would have been so much cooler if they would have gone the extra mile and had all of his weapons change to constructs when you have the suit on
Too bad they only reskinned the suits but didn't do anything about the gadgets. It would be nice if the Sinestro Corps Batman used constructs instead of regular gadgets or if the Batman Beyond suit had collapsible batarangs and the wrist mounted grapple gun.

Makes sense to me.
But 70s Batman looking like Adam West doesn't make sense. The Batman series was on from 1966-1968. 70s Batman was a completely different era that turned the comics from campy into more darker and serious stories. With some exceptions.
@Kal'smahboi: it looks like his cape unfolds out of his back area and then recedes back in when not in use
I got the animated series skin cause I per-ordered the game, and I kinda figured more skins would be showing up. They totally dropped the ball on the Sinestro Corps. suit's gadgets, and from what I can tell there is no rocket boots or retractable wings for the Beyond skin. Only cause they failed to show that suit gliding and that was the main one I wanted to see gliding, they prob. make you glide with a invisible cape or something.
The Robin and Nightwing DLC look kinda cool.
Year One, DKR, and Earth One look good, but they're not so different from afar to justify paying extra for them. Especially when most of the game is from behind Batman's back.
I'm already iffy on buying characters that can't be played outside of challenge maps. Costumes that don't add any real depth or variation can be nice little touches, but probably not for an extra 10% cost to the game.
I'll wait for a GotY edition or something to have it all included for less money, like I did for Arkham Asylum.
@G-Man:
I think we're going to have to agree to disagree on this one.
The picture doesn't make it any less silly to me. The Black Lantern one would have been worlds cooler. Though, I guess they could still do that at some point.
I watched all the Adam West show growing up. I know it's from earlier that the 70s. It's just the Adam West look would be hilarious watching him leap around whooping ass. They could do the same thing to Robin (Burt Ward).
I know they wanted to "offer" (for "extra cash", yeah. right...) the costumes they offered the various stores in the US (and UK) to the ones that didn't pre-order the game, or at least the ability to have the other alternate costumes..but couldn't they follow Activision's idea with Spider-man Shattered Dimensions, which was in my eye a much better alternative..
(no discussing quality of said games, just marketing approach)
The Pre-Order costumes should have been unlocked skins you can actually win in the game at the end, only, right from the start available.
There.
No extra cash to buy friggin' digital costumes for ten bucks! Everyone happy!
/end rant
@G-Man: Hey man from what comics is that batman gets the yellow ring? (how many issues is it? or is there a TPB of it?)

While you're at it, they should deal with the licensing and give us Michael Keaton/Christian Bale Batman, Julie Newmar/Michelle Pfeiffer/Anne Hathaway Catwoman, and a button to reskin any applicable villains.
Gotta say, having Heath Ledger, Jack Nicholson, and Caesar Romero's faces in the game would certainly add some replay value.
Heh.
Oh, neat :)@Kal'smahboi:
How does the Beyond skin fly? With the little red wings from the cartoon.

My prediction was right.
I am, in fact, rocking TDKR Batman.
For foxfireart the reason they have sinestro corp skin is because batman was almost placed into the sinestro corp.
@ARMIV2:
The Catwoman DLC already comes with 3 skins. The Arkham City game default skin, Animated Series skin, and Halle Berry's Catwoman.
LMAO. Just kidding about that last one. The 3rd skin is Long Halloween Catwoman.
Robin and Nightwing are the same... they have additional skins that come w/ the DLC:
AC Robin, Animated Robin, and Red Robin.
AC Nightwing and Animated Nightwing. Its too bad they skimped on Nightwing... that old 70s/80s costume with the huge-azz Deadman style collar would have been tits.
i saw an ad for a robin dlc for arkham city. is that so you can play as robin instead of batman? if so, what robin is in the game and do you think they will do the same for other characters? itd be awesome to play as nightwing or red hood!
@DeadJester: it's so you can play as robin (Tim Drake Robin = YAY!) in the challenge maps, as well as animated Robin and Red Robin. also, a Nightwing pack has already been released too - although it, like Robin, is pretty bare-bones :(

I too miss the days when endgame content was rich and plentiful, but alas publishers have discovered that they're sitting on a goldmine with DLC. I'm okay with this, so long as companies understand that they have a duty to set a proper standard - after the Catwoman release DLC (which was fun and chock-full of quality content), that level of commitment to quality assurance becomes the rule as opposed to the exception.
also, I've seen it said before, but I feel it bears repeating - TDKR Batman = Brock Lesnar in a fat suit.
