Whoa, this work is so utterly moving. There is hardly a single word to be read but the artwork flows in such a captivating narrative you can't help but get caught up in the emotion. The loss is palpable as is the pain . It's all interwoven with suble images of loss : the incomplete painting, the traces of drawings of a mind developing, echos of times spent that were mundane and therefore a powerful haunting force in there regularity . This might be the best in this arch . I'll have to read the rest. It's subtly is surpasses the 3rd person objectivity of Harper in batman 18 which for me was a let down .
