http://bit.ly/Imlqvm I'm really curious to see what Bane's orb actually is and how it plays into TDKR. I think it causes some kind of seismic activity, but this article proposes the idea that it could cause super density (MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 4 Opening?) which I think sounds a bit more plausible. I'm hoping it's not just some standard nuclear bomb and that Nolan really put some thought into it. The microwave emitter was a pretty cool concept in Batman Begins so I think he'll come up with something just as cool for TDKR. Nolan does like to ground things in reality as much as he can, so having this orb be based on some form of current technology would be right in his wheelhouse.
