Is Oberon Sexton Bruce Wayne??

Although we have not seen much since his introduction in Batman and Robin #4 (pictured) could it be?
Oberon Sexton receives an eerie phone call from in Batman and Robin #6 (no picture found) and Sexton is referred to as 'Grave Digger', (Bruce Wayne dug himself out of a grave in Batman RIP).  Could the 'little secret'  this man is tormenting Sexton with be that he is Bruce Wayne??

In Batman and Robin #5 Sexton is seen on TV stating that the Red Hood is a name used by more than one villain. There are only a few who have that knowledge.

And in the preview's for Batman and Robin #10 we see that Sexton is tracking down a killer and is sharing his knowledge with Grayson.  Sexton using his detective skills.  Maybe Bruce's travels through time have made him want to work from the shadows even more, maybe Bruce is happy to watch Grayson from the sidelines and only have a limited role, maybe this is the NEW Batman Morrison keeps talking about.

 Discuss.

Morrison has a plan. He always has a plan.

Morrison that crazy bastard, how he hasn't been put away in an Institute for the Mentally Unhinged I do not know...but I may have to start reading Batman just to see what he's doing

For some reason I think he is the Joker.

Wild thoery. Any reason why?

It would be an appropriately insane thing to do after realizing the real Batman is no more. He has a tendency to become his opposite when that happens (Going Sane, The Dark Knight Returns etc.).

Wow, that's an awsome theory

"His face was scarred by criminals who killed his wife".

Actually, now I'm more convinced than ever he is the Joker. He knows about Red Hood(s) and criminal activities in general. To me, it makes perfect sense; he has no Batman to challenge, so he becomes a vigilante himself.

Also, he doesn't look buff enought to be Bruce, IMO.

Dude, that is the best theory I've ever heard. You need to get that out there and make it public.

But, isn't Sexton supposed to be a world famous novelist ? Did the joke had the time to become that famous ?

Alter ego's are world famous. you dont need to be seen in public to be world-known. Stephen king for example did the same thing, he wrote a book under a different name and then later told that it was him.

I think he's a Morrison spun original

So, the joker wrote some book between two killing spree ?
By reading the ten issues of Batman and Robin again, I'm pretty sure it is Wayne. The fact that we see Sexton just after Damian says that bruce could be alive here and now and they don't know it yet because whatever happened changed him is probably a clue.

I'm still going on the Joker theory.

My sole contribution here is that Sexton as Wayne would be really, really pat.  It would be too on-the-nose obvious.

@12ty12: Impressive conclusion you've come to there. Will be interesting if this is indeed the case. Will have to pick up the B&R issues I missed. Morrison is fully capable of a twist like this....

I'd love for it to turn out that Sexton is a brand new character. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like Morrison wants to go down that road, lol
