Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale might be planning on creating a trilogy.

Which villain do you think would be in this new movie? It would obviously have to be a more realistic character to fit with the Nolan style. It couldn't be someone far fetched like Clay Face or Killer Crock.

In my opinion the best characters for his style of movie would be:

Catwoman

Ventriloquist

Deadshot

Black Mask (?)

Mister Freeze(?): this might be a little hard for Nolan and his realist style.

Bane (?)

Any thoughts?

i tihnk it would be cool if it's joker again. If it's joker that continues to terrorize batman and it would be a continuation of the second film.

Do a Quadrology set of movies starting with Cataclysm then Noman's Land 3 parts.

The Villains all have cameo roles but the main story is the earthquake and the rebuilding of Gotham for a new era...

Despite the fact that Begins was a hit and Dark Knight almost certainly will be, Bale has suggested that a third movie isn't definite.

I'm stoked to see Dark Knight.

Catwoman would be cool to see again, something like Michelle Pfeiffer's, I liked her rendition of the character.

It would be interesting to see black mask but his persona is so unique it would be very hard for them to do it right. And the actor would have to be quite exceptional as well. But from what I can it's going to be Two-Face. Harvey Dent will be in the next movie so it's pretty obvious in my opinion. There's also a rumor going around that it will also be The Joker and possibly Harley Quinn.

Also, I'm pretty sure that there will be a third movie. That's the way they seem to be doing Superhero movies now. Just look at Spider-Man, Blade, or X-Men.

Rumours are flying around but my favorite had to be that Ra's Al Ghul is going to return with his daughter Talia. That would be kicka movie. I also want some other villain to appear.

o_O I'd like that. Other than villains, some Robin should also appear, but younger than in Batman Forever.

id like to see that dude that cuts himself a line on his body for every victim he has killed. but on his own i dont think much of a story could be made, him and maybe another such as ventriloquist would be cool. and then throw in the badass batgirl not the commissioners kid and that would so rock my socks.

I think Tommy Lee & Jim Carey spent the whole movie doing their versions of the Joker instead of the characters they were playing. I think Two-Face is the logical main villain, I'd like to see some lesser villains like Ventriloquist, Maxie Zeus, Cornelius Stirk, Hugo Strange thrown in there like Zsasz was in the first movie for the fan's enjoyment.

i read an interview somewher with nolan where he said that in dark knight that the joker is the secondary villian much like the scarecrow was the secondary villian in begins and that two-face is the main villian of the story so i don't see two-face being in the third and Zsasz was in the first movie

Zsasz was in the first movie, but he was escaping Arkham. Zsasz could still be on the loose and make a great secondary villian. A great main villian would be someone like the Penguin, Killer Croc, or Catwoman. These villians could get more into Batman's head and cause alot more conflict for a good movie. Another good idea would bring Ra's Al Ghul back, since he is not dead.

Zsasz was in the first movie, but he was escaping Arkham. Zsasz could still be on the loose and make a great secondary villian. Hmm, I think that the next movie's main villain will be Two-Face; after all, unless they're trying to pull a Spiderman 3 and have 90 billion plotlines in The Dark Knight, they're probably only going to introduce Harvey Dent for most of the movie, and then change him into Two-Face towards the end.

Hmm, I think that the next movie's main villain will be Two-Face; after all, unless they're trying to pull a Spiderman 3 and have 90 billion plotlines in The Dark Knight, they're probably only going to introduce Harvey Dent for most of the movie, and then change him into Two-Face towards the end.

I don't think anyone wants to see another Catwoman. Nolan's leaving if his crew wants to replace Heatho as The Joker/bring back Joker, and Deadshot's already been done in the stupid anime prequel.

I can't see Black Mask as he'll be another 'disfigured/burnt' villain. My vote's for The Riddler =D Nolan's going with Batman's original rogues gallery, so I don't want to see Deadman or Cat-Man or Mad Hatter or Bane.
