He looks like a body builder. Body builders cannot move around as quick Batman can. And it be cool if he was a regualr sized muscle man.

just read Batman and Robin.

Dick was cool in the book, nice to see him as a competent Batman.

Damien was portrayed well too. But surprise surprise he is already messing up and it is only the second issue. Looks like Dick will have to save his butt before it is too late.

i like it too, i like how they show dick explaining his feelings to alfred but i dont think they should make him sound whiney so much, they should show it as dick pacing back and forth describing how bad it went to alfred

Agreed batman not a whinny bitch. We do not need to turn him into Spiderman lol. Especially the Tobey Mcguire version from the movies lol.

I really didn't want Dick to become Batman. I guess because i liked Nightwing so much, but now I'm really glad he is. I think it can work wonderfully especially with Morrison at the helm. However, I just think it is a matter of time before Bruce comes back. Hopefully, DC will ressurect him in a cool way and maybe he could serve his role as a superhero in another mask and costume, not as the Batman. I do miss him already though.

I have to say that I've tried almost all of the Batman line (Gotham Sirens being the exception) and I love the take everything is turning, I know Bruce will be back but this status quo should stay as long as it keeps the quality.

Here's to a new era for the best known duo in comics

I love Damien, i think he is so funny. Hes ten years old and he has an ego the size of Mexico!!!

The duo really works well together, you've got damien learning humility from Dick and Dick learning to be a bit more confident, i suppose is the word, from Damien. They have a lot to learn from each other and thats what i like. We are seeing Batman REALLY start again, seeing the learning curve and also Robin and what he has to learn.

They remind me of the odd couple!

I hope in issue three Dick beats the crud out of all the bad guys, just because i felt issue two he was acting somewhat weak and whiney but ended the issue with a new found confidence. I hope he rescues Damien and puts him into line aswell, teaches him respect, id like to see that in the next issue, or just the next few ones at least.

I'm cautiously optimistic. But then, I doubt this will last for more than a year or so, so there isn't much to be optimistic about. If they'd had the guts to outright kill Bruce and start fresh, I might be less cynical, but as it is....trapped in the past? You might as well say, "in storage". They'll wheel him out again soon enough, and he'll be back in the cowl shortly after that.

this is true i wouldnt say killed him off though , i just would like a permenent crippling accident, like loses and arm or gets put in a full body cast where when he gets out of it and heals he still needs a cane to walk every where. I liked his role in Batman beyond for terry

Fair point. That way he could still mentor, but they wouldn't be able to put him back in the suit. Batman Beyond definitely did that dynamic right.

Totally called the Tim Drake Ra's Al Ghul thing. They are totally messing up Tim's character where is all this unprovoked angst coming from. Come on Tim needs to show some self discipline he is a member of the Bat family and not a Rookie like Damien.

Dick is really the only person in the Bat family who has never wavered in his morals/beliefs aside from Bruce and Babs.

I actually like what they are doing with the character, alot better than the way he was acting during Battle for the Cowl and RIP

The Angst is coming from his adoptive Father being killed, out of the four sons he's taking it the worst
