This issue introduces catwoman and the corruption of the gotham police force has been revealed to the public.
In this issue the expressions of the characters really seem to come to life, their moods, and emotions are just as easily read upon their faces. this issue shows an excellent gritty beginning of oneof the worlds greatest super heroes. illustrated amazingly in gritty detail by david mazzucheli

And that's it, Gordon ends his relationship with Sarah and tells his wife everything. Catwoman's angry that Batman get's the credit for her work. Near the end Bruce Wayne saves Gordon's infant son.
In the end, Gordon is promoted to captain and he's patching things up with his wife. it's obvious that he knows who Batman really is.
So, yeah. Finished reading Batman: Year One. I say this issue was the weakest. But as a whole this is a very good story.
