commisioner Loeb orders a bomb to be dropped on an abandoned building in the hopes that it will kill batman. batman is forced into the basement but his belt catches fire and explodes. A SWAT team led by Brandon is sent in, who Batman manages to trap in the basement. Enraged as the team’s carelessly fired bullets injure several people outside, Batman beats the team into submission and, after using a device to attract the bats of his cave to him, he flees.
this is possibly one of the best comics ever written by frank miller. David mazzuchelli brings beautifull artwork to match the atmosphere

One more to go!
This issue slows things down a bit and focuses mostly on Batman's escape from the swat team sent in to kill him. Just Batman being cool, basically. After the escape, (which had an awesome scene with the bats and all), Wayne's alibi is that he's skiing in Switzerland. While there, Bruce ponders on getting Gordon on his side.
Elsewhere, Selina punches out her pimp and a month later, she's officially Catwoman (though not my favorite design of the character). Then the issue ends with Gordon feeling guilty about being a cop in Gotham, cheating on his wife (or maybe just considering it), and wonders if it's even right to chase the Batman.
Good stuff.
