Amazing, just like Batman Begins movie (is it a coincidence? That the movie just came out in 2005?). It's the most appropiate word for this excellent piece of art, Mazzucchelli and Miller really nailed the very nature of the Batman with this 4-part arc, i don't know if it's because i'm a BIG fan of the Batman (since i was a kid, like Mazzucchelli) Or it's because i own this story on it's 2005 reprint that features afterwords by Mazzucchelli and Miller themselves. Rise Of The Dark Knight 0

The Story:  The focus is on the first year of Batman's career as the Dark Knight. James Gordon arrives in Gotham and begins his quest to bring justice to the city. Selina Kyle begins her masquerade as Catwoman and the public confuse her as being Batman's assistant to her displeasure. The beginning of a mutual friendship between Batman and Gordon begins.   My Thoughts:  Written by legendary writer Frank Miller, this story was scribed before I was even born. The story still holds up for coming out...
