    !!!!

When I originally picked up Widening Gyre it was because Kevin Smith was writing the mini and I thoroughly enjoyed Cacophony last year when it showed what a bearded Joker looked like and provided some more Batman-Joker relationship stuff for me to write papers for school on. As Widening Gyre went along I enjoyed the new crimefighter and cameos of villains that havent been seen for a good long time and the return of Silver St. Cloud.

As the series went on I didn't really see where it was going, sure Bruce was with Silver and Catwoman was jealous, so what else is new?
However, this final issue drops many bombshells each bigger than the last, The Proposal to Silver, Catwoman Hijinks, Batparanoia, and sadly I can't tell you the big finale of it all, you'll have to read it and be just as amazed as I was.
There's a nice nod to The Dark Knight Returns, see if you can find it.....

Before the last part I was thinking "Hey, maybe this is an elseworlds" but then the last part came like a bucket of cold water. Just whe...
