Batman and Robin go to a secluded island to meet with a group that Batman was with maybe 30 minutes around Year 3 in Gotham. Put together by an eccentric Billionaire, Mayhew, I assume it is the Batmen of All Nations. Really kinda cheesy C listers, but the murder mystery is pretty good and the art is striking and seems old...I like it...kinda 70's feeling. The group is really cheesy but they are dysfunctional and sell their stories to anyone who will listen. The Black Glove is the one responsible and he blew up the Batplane and told everyone that they were going to die that day. Bats response was find the room where Mayhew was killed (the killer was wearing Mayhew's face as a mask) and don't eat anymore food. Great storytelling...I am in there like swimwear.

i know usually when theres a Batman comic that has batman outside of gotham i mean i think thats a bad sign of a bad storyline but this issue definatly changes that view i mean in this issue you get to meet the club of heroes, you get death and you get to have them all trapped by a group known as the black glove but you never actually get to see them. J.H. Williams artwork has some good points to me a few times the same characters look differant on differant pages. its mostly morrisons writing on this that keeps it together but still excellent piece of work
A good start Reviewed by TDK_1997 on July 15, 2011. TDK_1997 has written 319 reviews. His/her last review was for Like Lightning, Pt. 1. 277 out of 799 users recommend his reviews. 0 out of 1 user found this review helpful.
Story:The Club of Heroes is gathered to solve the death of John Mayhew
The Good:This is the begining of the mystery of the Black Glove. This is a good start-off of this story arc.The club of heroes is gathered again after so many years and maybe for the last time.In this is shown that Batman isn't so close with the other Batmen but only with Knight and Squire and so are they too. They have worked together pretty much times and that is amazing that we see that they have some relationship.
The cover shows us what will be in the issue and is really well done. The artwork is by J. H. Williams III and that menst really good. The murder scene in this was done really dramatic and even the the skin of John Mayhew on the face on the his killer was really well showned.
The Bad:I issually like Grant Morrioson but after I read Final Crisis verything's falling down for me.
Overall:We don't quite get who are the Black Glove but it's a good start.
