Batman must race against time to save a friend's life. But his mission may prove impossible as he reels under the weight of three hundred chemically enhanced super-criminals who stand against him. I like this issue because it has Batman doing some good detective work. I find that Ivy was sort of unnessesary. I mean each issue has had a new villian in it, then the villian gets one page of action. I think Ivy may have been unnessesary as we did not see her at all and the next few issues don't futher any story with her. I do like the writing though I just feel that with all of these villians the series feels overcrowded....

I'll do a standard CV review for this issue.The Good: I like the fact that this book tends to be the one that most explicitly ties the Batman universe together. In this issue they mention the Dollmaker episode from Detective Comics. And they mention that Ivy is in Birds of Prey. It also ties into the fact that Batman is in the Justice League. It's good to see that level of cohesion that's sometimes missing in DC titles (as opposed to Marvel). This issue also has some good detective work. So far,...

The Story: Batman continues his investigation and his race to find a cure to the toxin Flash and himself were exposed to.  My Thoughts:David Finch and Paul Jenkins have quietly been molding an under-appreciated Batman series that seems to be a little misunderstood.
