    I dropped this series after issue 9 as I didn't like it. However after hearing that the series was starting to get good again since Hurwitz took over the writing (as of issue 10) I decided I might give the series another shot. I decided to get the issues I missed, which I liked so I decided to continue getting the series. I am happy Finch has been able to stay on doing art (although I noticed he will be leaving after issue 15. I assume this is so he can go work on the new Justice League of Ameri...

    The Undead PastI have not yet formed a solid opinion of Batman: The Dark Knight. My initial impression has been positive but mixed. I did greatly enjoy the zero issue, but some have accused it of being predictable and implausible, and I would not fight anybody with much vigor on those points. Issue twelve featured a Scarecrow story which was somewhat interesting for delving into the psychology of Bruce and Crane, but cliché for its use of the “Scarecrow tortures Batman with fear toxin” gimmick. ...

    Batman's face is excessively squarish and boxy, and he appears to have no skin beneath the cowl, just more black costume, but I kind of really like this cover. It's like the pillars are support beams for the cover itself, and Batman is breaking free from the image. The best part of this cover has to be the way the image peels with his cape, with blank white underneath.Ok, this little girl's levels of compassion and innocence are a bit ridiculous.
