Last time this issue concluded was with The Trickster leaving batman and superman at a very bad position this issue we get to see some things explained.Let me start by saying that i adored this issue, it's not perfect by all means, but it's still well written. The first thing, as always, is the art. I've never really appreciated Jae lees art, sure it's pretty pictures, but i never realized how great of a story teller he really is. There are two main characters here ( DUH), Batman and Superman, a...

Things're making a bit more sense!... 0

A lot of the confusion that the first issue left us hanging on is cleared up. The meeting and interaction between the two Batmen, and the two Supermen are both pretty awesome and made me chuckle quietly to myself as the Batmen both countered each other the exact same way, and One Superman pretty much dominated the other just as he should've. Also the differences in the world are somewhat mind boggling. The fate that has beheld Arkham Asylum due to the updated ways of holding villains is staggeri...

Great Character Portrayals, Minimal Background Illustration 0

Positive: Pak handles the characters very well, particularly the exchanges between Earth 2 and Earth Prime heroes. Earth Prime Clark's interaction with Earth 2 Clark's parents is emotional and entertaining. Shadows and close-ups of gloomy expressions create a dark atmosphere in which Superman and Batman can convincingly coexist.Negative: Panel-to-panel close-ups of facial expressions against black backgrounds becomes tiresome. Lee's art highlights the importance of a strong background, someth...

Is This REALLY Earth 2? 0

I really have no idea what the cover is going for here. "Earth 2" Superman and Batman are fighting their hearts out or something, while Earth Zero Superman is floating/standing at attention looking bored, and Earth Zero Batman is like, 'LOL whatever.' Is there supposed to be some kind of tension of some sort here? Oh wait, I got the Earths mixed up. Still though.I have to say, the story in this issue is A LOT more coherent. There's less of the inner monologue exploring the heroes' reactions to ...

BATMAN/SUPERMAN #2 doubletime 0

COVER ART: 5/5 Even though this cover is not as iconic as issue #1, it is still an incredibly beautiful piece of art by JAE LEE and JUNE CHUNG. I love how Jae Lee illustrates the young country Clark with his short sleeves and boots with his high-water dungarees. He is really able to differentiate the two different timeline characters, with the current versions being more polished and "posh" while the younger versions are more impetuous and raw. This is a masterful execution of pencil and color.S...

Two Worlds 0

The first issue of this series was simply phenomenal and blew my mind. I had always expected great things due to Greg Pak working on it, but I never quite expected this, and I seriously hope that he can continue this as if so this will easily become my favourite comic out the now.PlotBatman and Superman have been taken to Earth-2 by a the Trickster where they meet their older counterparts.ReviewThis was a fantastic issue, but wasn't as good as the last issue. Greg Pak did however do an amazing j...
