A new epic begins with the debut of this new, ongoing series! Don’t miss the first fateful meeting of Batman and Superman in The New 52!

Note: The artwork is divided up between Jae Lee (with coloring from June Chung) for the regular cover and pages 1-18 and Ben Oliver (with coloring from Daniel Brown) for the rest of the comic and pages 19-25 respectively. The transition between the two teams is exceptionally smooth and the art style supports the story well.

I've been looking forward to this series for a while now, as being a huge Batman, as well as a relatively big Superman fan I really wanted to see the first encounter of these two great character's in the New 52. This leads to Batman travelling to Metropolis to inve...

Cover Art: 4.999/5Jae Lee does an absolutley FANTASTIC job creating a memorable cover that I personally will remember for years to come. I believe comics are all about transporting one from the real to the fantasy, and the Cover Art is the shiny doorway into this world. This cover was one of the best done this week, this month, and maybe this year! I have rated the cover 4.999 out of 5 because, if you have read any of my other reviews, I refuse to grant a full 5/5 if the artist does not draw the...
