I missed the first issue of the series but I figured that I wasn't missing much. As far as I've read Street of Gotham and Batman and Robin seem to be action packed as opposed to the recent issues of Batman (688). I feel that Batman series deals with Dick's psyche as he takes on the role of the iconic Dark Knight.

With being said, I liked this issue. It was rather chaotic. In BFTC, it seems like Black Mask had control of criminals. It simply isn't the case with this issue. In Batman and Robin, there's a certain amount of banter between the duo. I felt that the writer missed that but I can't complain because I'm not a big fan of Damien. Although I'm curious where Dini is headed with the series. I'm not completely sold on the artwork either. Nguyen's artwork is rather simple when it comes to the scenery. My title is kinda BS but there is a return of one of Bruce's nemisis. Get it if you're a Batman fan if not there are plenty of other series you can spend 3.99 on.

    Artwork 6/10
