    Really Don't Care

I've always liked SoG, more so than the regular ongoing Batman, the stories have been good and the art has been consistently amazing, but this issue seems to have droped the ball a little, well for me at least.

In short this issue focuses way to much on Jenna Duffy and this new villain, The Director. These characters really don't appeal to me that much, sure its cool how Duffy ties in to the Broker and how she's been making all the hideouts as of late, but its only cool when its for the well known ones. I just honestly don't care about the up and coming Director, he looks like any independent director in real life looks, and his personality makes me want to punch him in the face.

The all too short Damian and Abuse section was really the only redeeming part of this issue other than the art which was great as always, this one seemed to read like a Gotham City Sirens more than a Streets, not that I have anything against that series, but when you have a Carpentry themed henchmen/villain be the main focus, I really just dont care.

Nevertheless it will be at least somewhat interesting to see how this ends next month, Im just holding out for the Heart of Hush sequel.

The Manhunter second feature needs to go, sure it was cool with Two-Face for a bit, but now that he's gone I didnt even read it, and thats a first

    2.5/5
