Recent....I really liked Messiah Complex.
Cool story, Great action, well paced and we get to see bishops future which was really cool.

Messiah war is pretty good. The best Cable is one that is traveling time and fighting Stryfe.

Currently... well, i just read Batman: Hush. That was a phenomenal graphic novel! A must read for any Batman fan, especially those playing or that have played Batman: Arkham City. I can't wait to start reading R.I.P. to see what all the hype is about. Not to mention I love any comic where Batman is reportedly hallucinating due to Scarecrow, Mad Hatter, or his own tormented psyche. Speaking of which, I wish they would incorporate some more madness from Mad Hatter, some trippy artwork like what's experienced in Arkham City would be neat. The Mad Hatter sequence in the New 52 Batman just didn't cut it for me, but I've only made it through part 1. and I don't understand why the cover art looks so cool but has nothing to do with the actual storyline. But... allow me to retort. My current favorite is the 2006 Blue Beetle! I read the first collected edition and found out there are like 8 more. Finally! I can get my Blue Beetle fix after watching Young Justice: Invasion. which, Young Justice is one of my favorite things. Haven't read any of the New 52 Blue Beetle. Saddens me to hear they cut that story arc tho. I'll let everyone know when I buy Metamorposis and Blue Diamond. Cheers, and nice thread. Plenty of great info here.
