DC Universe seems to but not really over the Death of Batman The Dark Knight, his symbol and what he stood for in my view no other Character had bin able to undergo, But the Epic Battle for the Cowl has come to end result: Dick Grayson a.k.a Nightwing is now the Gotham's Dark Knight.

Now many a Batman fan has disputed and argued over Grayson ( out of respect i will not call him Dick lol) taking on the coveted cowl, some say he was where he was supposed to be in blue and black tights running around as Nightwing, other's say it wasn't even Bruce's will for Dick to be Batman therefore, he has no business as Batman. But i beg to differ i'm actually enjoying this short rollar coaster ride with Grayson as Batman ( for we all know that Bruce is coming back), Seeing as how a hestitant Grayson takes on the Mantle that he lived to emulate, How he deals with the Responsibilities of the Cowl and the way his return is taken by the Villians of Gotham City is a great read all around. Winick's portrayal of Grayson, Penguin, Two-Face & the plot line tied to it all is gripping to a reader such as I. The art leaves something left to be desired, yet the Cover is amazing, I give this comic a 4.2 out of 5 it's a good comic and a great continuation of the Grayson Era, but the idea of a new Robin makes this comic a lil hard to swallow.

"Long Shadows" is shaping up to be another fantastic thrill ride like Judd Winnick's past endeavors in Bat-lore. The Arkham loonies are rampaging through Gotham, a reluctant new Batman gets some face-time with the media, and one of Batman's oldest foes is catching on to the secret that everyone in the Bat-family has been guarding so closely. It's an engrossing read much like Judd's "All They Do Is Watch Us Kill," and promises to showcase just as many twists and turns and copious amounts of fisticuffs. Can't wait to see where this story takes the Caped Crusader!

Sorry couldn't resist throwing that joke in one more time. I'm no better than a Deadpool comic, lol... I thought that this was an okay issue. Other than the first 3 pages I didn't feel that there was much going on. The media takes notice of how Batman is playing by the rules, letting evidence maintain its integrity and what not. Then we have Dick complaining about the suit which I suppose is quite different than how Bruce would have handled the situation. But how long can Dick complain before it gets old? I thought the art work for the most part was good. The writing was ok. The one thing that I couldn't stand was the fact that Dick would smile when he was in the costume. Why on earth would he do that? The villians have gotten their butts handed to them by the dark knight. I can't recall any of them seeing him smile. Although I think that many of the villians know that the current Batman isn't the one they faced before. So once it's caught on camera I think they'll know something is up. I'd get the issue but if one doesn't it's not like they're missing too much.
