    The Good

BATMAN: LI'L GOTHAM continues to prove how glorious the "Digital First" format can be. With a few minutes to kill, I pulled out my smart phone and downloaded the latest chapter and was cracking up.

Each chapter has a focus on a holiday or time of year. This one deals with (sort of) Daylight Saving Time. More specifically, we see Clock King unleash a plan that will affect not just Gotham but perhaps even other timelines. That means we get to see some (sort of) special guest appearances by other versions of Batman, ones you never thought you'd see in this series.

Seeing the different versions together was a trip but another favorite page is how Dustin Nguyen depicts the time stop with Batman in mid-motion was pretty cool.

Dustin and Derek do some funky things in this chapter. You just never know what's going to happen next.

    The Bad

    No complaints. Another fun-filled issue.

    The Verdict

With each issue of BATMAN: LI'L GOTHAM, you're pretty much guaranteed a great time. For only $.99 an issue, Dustin Nguyen and Derek Fridolfs pack in all the reasons we love Batman and his associated characters. Leave it to these two to figure out a way to continue their holiday-themed storytelling and figure out how to use Daylight Saving Time in an issue. We get some great "guest stars" that fall far from what you might possibly expect. This is the joy of the "Digital First" format. You can easily pick up the latest chapter (at a great price) where ever you have a wifi connection and know you'll be entertained.

I just finished reading it. It was pretty funny, but not as much as last issue. I didn't like this series at first, but the last couple of issues have been one fun trip. lol I'm glad we got to see this version of Clock King from Batman TAS. He was always one of my favorites and I always wanted to see this version in the games and movies or at least a new 52 version. I think there was only 2 I think of to put in the best stuff. So, be on the look out for my tweet.

First trade comes out at the end of February. Here's an Amazon link.
