Batman Incorporated
After traveling through time Bruce Wayne has returned to the present day and is prepared to take his war on crime to the next level, by essentially "franchising" it, by drafting, training and commanding a team of heroes who will fight crime on a global scale representing the bat symbol.

Issues 1 & 2 are in the books. Any thoughts so far? Complaints, suggestions? Smart remarks?
"Uh.....so those seagulls pecking at the squid in the window was pretty cool. "
Damnit I missed that little tidbit. I'm going to go back and read both issues together.
I liked Mr. Unknown having to take the Bat-Oath. I thought it was a nice touch.
Or the Boy Scouts. LOL
The writing and characterization was solid but i'm not excited for guys like mr unkown,el-gaucho,nightrunner etc, when this series was announced i was thinking of guys like bronze tiger and bane not some dorks.

Morrison has always loved creating new characters. I don't really mind it but sometimes it can be annoying.

True , while the characters itself are interesting ,theres nothing we havent seen before ,and do you know what bruce stuck to the windows when selina was fighting the squid ,it didnt look like explosives. and i guess this issue answers the question as to why batman beats guys like deadpool.
EDIT
i meant how not why but my edit buttons not working and lord death man is officially one of my favourite characters.

I'm not sure about the gadgets he used. I'm going to read both issues at the same time to get a proper feeling for the series.
I really liked Lord Death Man too. He was dramatic and over the top. Just the way a crazed villain should be.
That was another nice touch. No KILLING!

Well on the bright side i finally have an argument against deadpool ,just tie him up put him in a box and throw him to space.
"I have yet to read # 2 (even though I have it), but I'm hyped for this. In Morrison I trust. "
Ah the legendary morpheus himself.
Pleasures all mine , i feel girly saying that ,and yeah the vine regards you very highly.
It was only shown but never verbalized.
6 issues into the story. What does everyone make of it so far?
" 6 issues into the story. What does everyone make of it so far? "Love it. Morrison is finally in full swing with this story and i'ts broken past just set up. Issue 1 and 2 were nice but nothing amazing. With 3-5 we got a full taste of what's in store and issue 6 blew the door wide open setting the main stage and left me wanting more.
I'll be breaking down issue 6 in my "Chasing Leviathan" thread later tonight.
I agree. The set-up was a bit tedious and at times I felt lost but it all came together beautifully. I loved the developments in this issue with Tim Drake/Outsiders, Cassie returning and the overall threat level of Leviathan.
Have there been a dozen attempts on the life of Bruce Wayne yet? Because that's what I'd think would be the logical result of announcing to the world that you bankroll the Batman! What reason does Mr. Morrison give, if any, as to why this doesn't occur?
