Things are heating up!
Grant Morrison has been building up Batman Inc. from a lot of time and the second volume finally starts to work as the way it should.Talia was a poor choice for a villain for such a big thing but in this issue Morrison explains things quite well and she starts being not such a poor choice at all.The way she explains things and puts Batman in such a situation shows us that now she isn't the daughter of the Demon and that lady that loved Batman so much that she could do anything for him,now she has changed into the villain that may destroy his life. The conversation between her and Bruce is something unique that I loved and I want the good dialogues to continue in the future also.
This is quite an apocalyptic issue for Gotham and Batman Inc.While Bruce is on his own mission and talking with Talia,Batman Inc. is in a quite difficult situation for them. They had fought with Leviathan and things aren't good for them.Squire and Freight Train are dying,Halo and Looker are also in a bad situation and things haven't ended for them. And all of this has been put up between the conversation of Talia and Bruce and it fits well.
Chris Burnham in this issue captures things well and the action scenes are something that look really great with his style. He isn't that good with capturing only faces but when there are people in costumes things are good and they work. The only problem I had in this issue with his art is how he captured Damian,he made him look like a 5 year old that is kinda gay and is not bad ass as Damian.
While things are starting to finally work this still looks like a quite bad situation.Talia doesn't seem to be the villain that should have this role in Batman's life. She was the one that actually introduced Damian to Batman and put them together and now she wants Damian back and if she doesn't get him,she will destroy Gotham.Still waiting for an explanation.
Things are getting lovely and I can't wait to see what's next for Batman from Grant Morrison.a true Batman legend.
