Batman Incorporated #6 0

Garland of SkullsTo see this review with images, Click Here.I absolutely loved the last issue of Batman Incorporated. I think I am beginning to get a grasp on Morrison's unique writing style and long term story telling, and I love it. Granted, it would be nice if he would occasionally answer a few more questions rather than speed from one ambiguous revelation to another, but at the same time, his refusal to nail down every aspect of his story is what paves the way for so many theories in the pre...

For Past Reviews: Batman, Incorporated #5, Batman, Incorporated #4PlotTalia and Bruce discuss Talia's plans, as the Bat-Pets get an extra addition, and a deaths begin to occur.Story & ScriptGrant Morrison really puts Snyder to shame with this issue. While it's likely not one major character will bite the dust in Death of the Family, Grant decides it's time to clean house. A character who's been a major recurring character bites the dust with three other character's lives appear to be nearing...

Leviathan Rises 0

Batman Incorporated #6 continues the high-octane action which this volume of the series has made itself known for. However, this issue is far more talky than its predecessors, with Talia manipulating Bruce into running a gauntlet while pulling back the proverbial curtain hiding her true master plan. The expository parts of Talia's dialogue remind us how high stakes the stakes of this series really are, even if its not the focal point of the Bat-titles any longer. This isn't simply a particularly...

Leviathan Strikes 0

I have been really enjoying this series, and it's been a vast improvement over the previous series. I've always felt that Grant Morrison's best Batman have been the ones featuring Damian Wayne, and this series continues that. I've loved seeing how Damian has caused this feud between Batman, and Talia al Ghul, and hope it keeps getting better, and better.PlotThis issue sees Talia's plan to take out Batman Inc. put into effect, and Batman must stop her. Meanwhile the former Robin's and current Rob...

Alfred cat! 0

I only recently caught up on this issue after reading issue 5 which was brilliant and I decided to buy the whole series until it ends which I believe is issue 12 so I wanted to see what happens and I wanted to see what Morrison did next.PlotBatman goes to the building that Batman Incorporated were investigating before it blew up. Batman goes into the house and is spoken to by Talia Al Ghul when he is attacked by some of the members of Leviathan. In the Batcave Damian is given a cat.ReviewThis wa...

"You know me. I don't like Jokes" 0

Falling skies, a big explosion, people in danger, flames everywhere, family in peril, all that set the mood for this spectacular issue, where Batman must decide between Damian and Gotham City. If one day writers envisioned Talia as the new Ra's Al Ghul, Morrison's take of the character is definitely it:she's not anymore the devil's daughter, she's evil herself, she's the embodiement of everything against Batman's beliefs and apparently nothing will stop her cruel and mad plans. For me this was a...
