    Batmen, Incorporate!

    The Story So Far

Here we get the story of how Batman sets up his corporation. He travels the globe recruiting men and women to join his crime fighting force. All this is done because of the emerging threat of Leviathan.

There are some cool panels where Batman is doing one armed pull ups. Alfred makes a sandwich that looks tasty.

Lets start with the art. The cover isn't great and doesn't look as detailed as some of the other zero covers. I am not digging the art in the book either. It just looks too matted and they way Batman is drawing does nothing for how cool he actually is.

I am not a fan of the concept of this series in general, but I was hoping that I would be proven wrong a good Batman story would emerge. It doesn't in this issue. First off, I don't care about any of the characters that Batman is bring onto his team. I never liked the Squire and Knight. Morrison once again pulling from stuff he's already wrote, unfortunately, it's from stories that I never cared for. I feel like if you haven't read Morrison Batman from a few years ago then these characters will be even more boring. It's like a D-List bonanza!

    Your Job

Skip this issue. I don't even care if you loved Morrison's run on Batman and you have a Squire and Knight tattoo. This issue it so dull, I might not even bother to bag this comic. I feel like I am going to eventually drop this comic anyways and now might be the best time to do so.

I liked how in this issue we have Frazer Irving on art which is a nice change as his art is amazing, although Burnham has been doing a good job in the other issues. This issue is basically a retelling of how Batman Incorporated came together and how Batman recruited members. He starts off by talking to the Wayne Enterprise board members about the positives that would c...

THE GOOD: The art is interesting and different from what you see in most series. There are probably a lot of people who like the art for it's uniqueness and the simplicity of it, some probably don't enjoy it as much. The story is, well, everywhere. Bruce Wayne talking to the Wayne Enterprise board really makes you grasp the need for Batman Inc, something that a couple people haven't been able to get. Seeing him recruit people is interesting because of how different they are.   THE BAD: The art d...
