Batwing is the Batman of AFRICA? The entire continent?
*shakes head*
Batman Inc.
Team » Batman Inc. appears in 85 issues.
Batman Inc. is the result of Bruce Wayne using the concept and idea of Batman to counter-act the idea of crime. His goal is to make Batman a global franchise and stop crime around the world.
Batman, Incorporated Will Return in 2012
also this is what I think grant Morrison`s response to this after Geoff Johns and Jim Lee broke him the news of the quote /un quote re-boot /re-numbering . ( Note : Eli is Geoff Johns and Daniel planview is Grant Morrison ) and guess who has been drinking the milkshake . (also if a movie was ever made about Grant Morrison I think that Daniel Day Lewis should play the part of the writer himself because he is just that capable of an actor to play the part )
also Grant Morrison is the third revelation !! ^_^
Morrison should be used to getting all his work Retconned by now. He knows his days are always numbered, I don't see why he is ever writing cannon materials.
Perhaps he views himself as a superhero himself, writing revolutionary ideas for comic companies that hate revolutionary ideas.

Are those silly bat droids supoosed to strike fear into criminals?
Take some hint from KC Batman's design.

Got a theory: Leviathan IS the reboot. Ouroboros? The snake that eats itself, signifying the cyclical nature of the world (and ESPECIALLY comics)? I think Grant Morrison is going to have Batman Inc literally fight the rebooting nature of the DC Universe. It’s the ultimate comics-based meta-narrative, right up Morrison’s alley. I just don’t know how he would keep both Batman and something THAT, well, potentially pretentious in nature working together coherently. But if any writer can do it, my money is on Grant.

Not only that, but I keep seeing articles referring to him as "African American" when I don't think he's actually American at all. He is--as far as I know--a black man from Africa living in Africa.Batwing is the Batman of AFRICA? The entire continent? *shakes head*
But I agree that they would've been better off picking a specific city, even if they had to make one up, for him to protect and be based out of.
This revamp sounds more and more moronic as this news trickles out...and more and more like a hasty, ill-conceived effort by DC. Blurg.
Batman Inc was never really that interesting and a contradiction to everything batman stood for.
Bruce Wayne has sucked since he came back. I think he shouldn't of came back so soon either.
Dick and Damien were awesome as batman and Robin.
Tim was always great, i just hatted his new look as red robin.
DC has ruined the character Barbara Gordon.

Friend you are right on some points.
And absolutely DEAD wrong on others, how exactly is Batman Incorporated a contradiction to everything Batman STANDS for ?
This makes no sense. Wasn't the point of this whole thing to erase everything that existed and then start completely from scratch because everything had gotten too convoluted for new readers to jump into?
I wanna see Morrison complete what he wants to do, so I'm glad that it's still gonna finish, but the fact that they're doing it contradicts everything the reboot was supposed to do.
The culmination of a 6 year long, heavily mythos referencing, and continuity shaking storyline doesn't fit the bill.
Batman Inc was a contradiction to everything batman stood for. This is always hilarious to hear. Explain yourself.
If it was a contradiction to what Batman stood for, you'd have to say the same for each Robin, Batgirl, Batwoman, Nightwing, Oracle, and everyone else that's popped up in the last 70 years.
