    Batman Detective Comics Vol.1

BATMAN DETECTIVE COMICS FACES OF DEATH.The first volume of Tony S. Daniel's Batman Detective Comics is a story about a killer known as the Dollmaker who is asked by Joker to cut off his face. The Dollmaker then kidnaps Lt.Jim Gordon who Dollmaker plans to use him as bait to lure Batman, capture him then sell batman to none other than The Penguin which leads us to the second half of the comic. The second half starts as penguin is in the grand opening of his new iceberg casino where a guy named "snakeskin"is stealing his money and of course,The Batman is there to stop him but things get bad as snakeskin stabs Charlotte Rivers who needs serious medical attention and because of all the chaos the public is in commotion and penguin tries to stop Batman with his gang of supervillains.I dont want to give away too much about this comic but rest assured this comic has a good story, excellent artwork I will give this 5 stars.

Batman is quickly on his trail naturally blaming him for it, until he sees the Joker himself being attacked. After Joker is captured and then later kidnapped, Batman learns this thing may be even bigger than him. -summaryHad Batman Detective Comics Vol. 1 been my first exposure to the DC's New 52 concerning Batman, it really would have rubbed me the wrong way towards most of the o...
