Everybody Dance
Ok, here we go... it's getting exciting now. Silver is in the hands of the Joker. He's kidnapped her, hoping it would throw a wrench into the campaign of Senator Gregory. Joker catching something in what Silver says, to make him think she's not what he thinks she is. But of course, she won't tell him. What a tangled web this love triangle is weaving....
Batman is out after the Scarecrow, somewhere in the countryside around Gotham. This is the only part I had issue with here. It just was over too quick... boom, boom, he's down for the count. Dang, I thought he would at least put up a fight?? It felt rushed, like it was just a second thought here.
There is plenty going on between Joker and Silver. He's messing with her, trying to find out more, what is she lying to him about?
Oh, did anybody notice the lamp in the Joker's place... "Only one thing in the world could've dragged me away from the soft glow of electric sex gleaming in the window." Straight out of "A Christmas Story". That just cracked me up. Loved it!
Gregory went to Bruce for help, asking him to find Batman and get him to find Silver. He gets what he wishes for here and Batman is tracking him down. In fact, he goes to Two-Face to get the info he needs.
This issue continues the lead up to what I hope is a thrilling conclusion.
