Tony Daniel proves he's more than a great artist (spoilers) 0

I have to admit being skeptical going into Battle for the Cowl. Its striking parallels to the aftermath of Superman's death in the 90's made me a bit reluctant to give it a chance, but I'm very pleasantly surprised with this first of three issues that anchor the BFTC crossover story. Tony Daniel's artwork is still as impressive as it was during his tenure with Grant Morrison on Batman: RIP, but in this issue his writing is what really made this comic an enjoyable experience. The Following events of Batman RIP and Final Crisis, Battle of the Cowl was an Epic Series for who shall be the Next Batman, knowing already that Batman is no more. Now all the pressure is on Dick Grayson whether is he worthy should he be the next Batman, or is Batman him self is still alive. The criminals in Gotham take advantage of this Crisis and try to Take over Gotham City, knowing that Batman is no more, but someone else under the shadows appear the one who claims and wants to be the next ...
