Costumed as a bat to prey on the fears of criminals, and utilizing a high-tech arsenal, he became the legendary Batman.

Named after the Angel of Death, Jean-Paul Valley was an agent of the Sacred Order of Saint Dumas. Jean-Paul becomes a more independent crime fighter after acting as Batman for a time.
Formerly the D.A. of Gotham City, Harvey Dent was an ally of Batman and Commissioner Gordon until he had acid thrown onto the left side of his face by a mob boss, scarring him for life. The incident drove Harvey insane and he became Two-Face, obsessed with chance and always carrying a double-headed coin, which he flips to determine his every decision.
After his wife became terminally ill, Dr. Victor Fries devoted his life to saving her and used cryogenics to freeze her to get time to find a cure. After being attacked by his boss Ferris Boyle and exposed to some of his chemicals, Fries could only survive in sub-zero temperatures and built a special suit to keep himself alive, becoming Mr Freeze.
Jimmy Olsen is a photojournalist working at the Daily Planet, as well as a close friend of both Clark Kent and Lois Lane.

Out of guilt and manipulation from Lex Luthor, DuBois blamed Superman and took on the name, Bloodsport. He wore a device that enabled him to teleport any weapons to himself from an undisclosed location. His arsenal included highly advanced firearms and a gun that shot Kryptonite needles.
Drury Walker was always a second rate villain, he took on the identity of Killer Moth and clashed with Batman many times. But one day, Neron came and offered him something and he became Charaxes.
Hellgrammite is a recurring villain of Superman.
After giving himself the power to create duplicates of himself and being driven insane due to sleep deprivation, Frederick von Frankenstein turned to a life of crime. He is an occasional villain of Superman and the Green Team.
With his organic parts genetically identical to Superman's, many believed that the former astronaut Hank Henshaw truly was the Last Son of Krypton restored to life after his death at the hands of Doomsday. Until he destroyed Coast City in Superman's name which led Hal Jordan to becoming a villain known as Parallax. Since then he has become a permanent menace for Superman and Green Lantern.
Cloned by Project Cadmus from deceased gangster "Bullets" Barstow. He battles Superman, as part of the Superman Revenge Squad, and is defeated. He eventually has a change of heart, and returns to Cadmus.
A protoplasmic lifeform from a pocket universe, Matrix was able to shapeshift, turn invisible, and use telepathy and telekinesis. She came to this universe and took on the role of Supergirl. Later, she gave her life to save Linda Danvers and the two became one girl - the Earth Angel of fire.
