I love seeing Frank Quitely's art. DC has shared a peak at the cover to Batman And Robin #6. There's a new villain making his way to Gotham. According to DC, he's a deadly villain going by the name of..."The Flamingo." He just might become Batman's "most dangerous, psychopathic, muderous foe."
Guess we'll have to see more of him in action in order to see just how dangerous he can be.
Batman and Robin
Team » Batman and Robin appears in 3681 issues.
Potentially the best known and popular partnership of heroes in comic books, the dynamic duo is a team comprised of the legendary Batman and his loyal sidekick Robin. The identities of Batman and Robin have varied over time, but the titles have endured.
Check Out The Cover For Batman & Robin #6 By Frank Quitely
"Purple Rain much?
"
Lol that's great!
I love Quitely's Art and this is my fav book out there right now.
The lead up to this guy's arrival has been well done and I can't wait to learn more about him and just delve into the character. I can't wait to see what he is like and how he fights or just interacts with Dick and Damien.
Another New Batman Villain developed by Grant Morrison= Soo excitinggg!

same hear this and invincible are my favorites right now !!!!!!!!!
"They seek him here, and they seek him there, His clothes are loud, but never square." I believe Flamingo's a dedicated follower of fashion. No one gets the reference--*crickets*.
Like Batman and Robin don't have enough problems trying to de-bunk any accusations about their sexuality as it is they get trounced by this guy? Who also has a whip?
Two words for Flamingo: "I'm Faaaaaaaaabbbbbuuuuuuuulllllllooooouuuuuuutttttthhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" All puns strongly intended.
He looks FAaaaaBULOUS!!
The artist's name, "Frank Quietly". That's one of those situations where you wonder, "Is that his real name?". Looking at the comparison of this cover to that Purple Rain poster. It makes me wonder if this guy is DC's Greg Land. Though, Land does that stuff all the time. I'm unfamiliar with this person's work. Far as I know he could be doing that just for laughs this once.

Nope, it's Vince... something. I've forgotten again. I'm sure he's a nice guy, but he's too slow and makes all his characters look like they've been beaten with several ugly sticks.
I walk away for two seconds and come back to see Batman's new arch-villain is a flimsy matador holding a bullwhip looking like some reject from a "Purple Rain" album cover?
Seriously????
I've just never been into the smarmy, feminine villain thing. It barely works in James Bond movies and hardly translates into comics. They just can't hold their own. I can't think of one villain that's an exception.
I have no clue how to feel about this.
I wish that did make me feel better but if anything it only adds to the awkwardness... Pink jacket AND he eats meat? Yeah... It's a sign of the times. Jesus must be coming back.
First a very ginger jason now this! I wonder if Flaaaamingo will show up in any book but Morrisons.lol I seriously doubt it, I swear is it possible for him to write a story where he's not introducing the worstest villian EVER ( he swears) and or changing the status quo? I bet he was pretty good at playing opposite day as a kid.
MY GOD! this series does NOT interest me one bit! specially with such a Non-Batman compatible (and crappy) Artist like Quitely!
BRING BRUCE BACK!
" Purple Rain much?PRINCE is coming to Gotham!? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! LOL nicely done!
"
bahahaha! i believe flamingo is their dedicated driver. can't drive the batmobile plastered now!
looks rather good actually - loving frank quietlys art as well. no doubt the guy is queer. his only way of being 'dangerous' is by a motorbike and whip - hmm ?
" MY GOD! this series does NOT interest me one bit! specially with such a Non-Batman compatible (and crappy) Artist like Quitely! BRING BRUCE BACK! "1. Probably cause you havent read it and are unwilling to accept change.
2. Quitely is a brilliant artist. A little rough, but still good. much better than Phillip Tan at least.
3. Bringing Bruce back too soon will just make everything going on now pointless and embarassing. he will come back at the right time.
anyway, Sweet cover!!
" @Archetype: bahahaha! i believe flamingo is their dedicated driver. can't drive the batmobile plastered now! "Yeah there must be a side car on the other side of that bike.

" @Archetype said:" @Ectoplasmic: If it makes you feel better he eats peoples' faces and seems quite deranged. "this guy looks like he wants to lick their face not eat it. Batman better bitch slap this guy. "
Hannibal Lecter would do both and have some chianti and farva beans.ssssllliiisss!
" I thought that Batman and Robin #6 dealt with the Red Hood still. "Did you read #5? LOL
After seeing the murderous scene that was in #5, I'm psyched to check this issue out! CAN'T WAIT!
With that said...don't know how I feel about the cover. It doesn't feel like a cover, really.
