    The Story So Far

Issue #11 starts out with Damian getting the drop on the Red Hood. He leaves a crowbar in Jason's bed, so bad ass. During the fight, Damian reminds him that they both have mommy issues and Damian ends up winning and taking his hood. Meanwhile in Gotham, there is a group of thugs working for Terminus who are going around branding people with the bat symbol. Batman no likely.

Although I do like the story in this issue a lot, there are at least 3 or 4 super cool panels and a two page spread that really begs to framed. The story and the art really come together in this one. After I was done reading I really felt like I had read two issues. The Damian/Todd battle wasn't very long but I felt satisfied when it was done, especially the last panel of that story. The branding part of the story worked well and it really brought out some rage in Batman. You see two Batmans in a sense in this issue. One who is a father and in control, keeping Damian in check, and reminding bad guys who they should fear. And a Batman consumed with rage after someone is sullying up his good name. Batman is mad as hell and he's not going to take it anymore!

I wasn't sure about either of these story lines before this issue. Damian was going to fight all the Robins in what would amount to glorified sparing sessions and I wasn't sold on Terminus. But Damian's mission is giving us some great insight into his character and is providing for some really great moments. Terminus seems to have a decent plan and he doesn't have anything to lose with his body deteriorating. That makes for a dangerous bad guy.

Not many bad things about this issue. I was a little confused about Terminus' state at the end of the issue. Didn't he just . . .? How did he get like . . .? I am sure it gets explained. The end of the issue leaves you anticipating a big battle, which is fine. I would just like to be anticipating a fight AND a big reveal. Is that asking too much? It is isn't it?

    Your Job

You should read this issue and should be reading this title. Definitely the second best of the Batman titles.

See, this is a fantastic cover, but let's be honest here; how many people buying this comic aren't already buying tickets for The Dark Knight Rises? COME ON! And it really breaks up the flow of the image towards the top. Ugh.Damian continues his self-imposed gauntlet, and manages to beat Red Hood in a similar battle as the one he had with Tim. Now, I know a lot of people will be ready to cry BS on this, but it's not like he completely kicked his ass or anything. Like with Tim, Damian was using s...

As a Red Hood fan I will do my best to stay impartial to this issue. Tomasi has had some problems with this series but then rises above and delivers. This issue has two good potential stories mixed into but is it a good idea? The war of the Robins continues as Damien tries to earn respect from his peers, and even though he isnt playing nice doesnt mean he wont win but on to the reivewTHE GOOD:As i said, there are two really good stories in here. We start off with Red Hood coming into his safe ho...
