    Batman & Robin #9: Broken

"So How Did It Happen?" - Knight. Blackest Knight ends in this issue. A three part series that started in issue 7 and ends now! Writer Grant Morrison (Final Crisis, Batman R.I.P.) works with Artist Cameron Stewart (The Invisibles) on a story about a clone Batman returning from the grave all thanks to Dick Grayson. While most of the Bat-family is angry at his decision, they know that Dick will have to do the right thing to destroy this monstrosity! With Damian still recovering from being shot directly in the spine, he will have to also battle Clone Batman in a wheel chair. Don't think young Damian disabled folks, he still can kick butt in a wheel chair!

    The Good

While this story closes, it is always good to look and see what Dick has done in this three part story line. While most people say Dick is a bad Batman which is half true, I'm sure that Grant made Dick Batman for a reason. Sparks fly, as Clone Batman takes a trip back to his home in Gotham City. Things will get messy, as Alfred and Damian have to team-up against the clone. Frank Quitely's cover for this issue was amazing, as always. From his brief interior art for issues 1-3, he has drawn all of the covers for the Batman and Robin series! As I can see the connection now, every artist that has worked on "Batman & Robin" with Grant has only drawn three issues. I see now that all artist from now on will be drawing only three. Grant's story was great, while this is sort of a copy of Blackest Night, issues 7-9 are totally ones that should be read. Issue 9 is a good jumping on point because, now since Blackest Knight is over, comes, Batman Vs. Robin! That's right a series dedicated to Batman fighting his sidekick Robin. Don't miss out on this issue or this entire series.

    The Bad

The dialogue of clone Batman was hard to understand. While he isn't working all the way of his brain capacity, it would be a lot easier to read what he is saying. The reader should be able to know what he is saying the first time, and not to be reading his dialogue 4 and 5 times.

    The Verdict

Blackest Knight is over! Grant takes on another story which puts Batman Vs. Robin! This is a great jumping on point, readers who have been timid to read a Batman series with Dick as Batman, has to read Grant's Batman and Robin Story. Batwoman dies, however comes back to life by one of Ra's Al Ghul's pits. Action and a good story, Grant has done a great job with the Batman & Robin series. Overall this is a 4 out of 5.

For those interested in a Bizarro Zombie Batman 0

So the Batman resurrection thing didn't quite work out like Dick hoped and we have a problem.  Batwoman is near death and this not Batman is on his way to his not home to see his not son.  And not for for family time.  While Batman, Knight and Squire tend to Batwoman, Alfred tries his best to protect Damian form this demented not Batman. It turns out Damian is as proficient in wheelchair combat as his father was after getting his back broken.  Their assault on not Batman is exciting and I always...

      BATMAN AND ROBIN #9 0

"Blackest Knight" conclusion. Written by Grant Morrison and drawn by Cameron Stewart. In the beginning of this issue we see Batwoman lying dead at Batman's feet. Thats where a Lazerus pit comes in, and she gets resurrected. After that scence we see the zombie Batman trying to kill Damian and Alfred. The zombie Batman is one crazy dude, and he can barely talk. Zombie Batman kicks Damians ass and then throws him off Wayne Tower. Poor Damian hasn't had much luck lately with getting paralized and no...
