    DaDa Issues 10

Batman and Robin team up with Nightrunner to restore order after a prisoner break takes place at Le Jardin Noir.    The Good This cover's absolutely gorgeous and amazing on every level. Honestly 90% of me buying this issue was due to this cover.   Normally I'm not a fan of Tocchini's work, nor am I a fan of two artist doing pencils in the same issue. It's often distracting and jolting and hampers a read for me. This go around there's no such trouble here. This kind of surreal imagery of this sto...

    Should of been a mini-series 1

Synopsis  Batman and Robin team up with Nightrunner to confront the villains who have broken out of the French equivalent of Arkham Asylum, "Le Jardin Noir" and to stop the surreal mastermind behind the breakout.  The Good  I suppose I should get this out first, I rather liked this issue. I really dig the dadaism and surrealist concepts running through the entire issue. The other idea that rather drew me in was the introduction of some new and colourful villains for Nightrunner (also one of the ...

I think this was the wrong time to be introduced to a new villain 3

Batman and Robin # 26 So here's the last issue of Batman and Robin and the first thing I'd like to say is....this could've ended way better than it did.So Dick, Damian, and Nightrunner are handling this problem going on in Paris. It's being caused by this guy named Voila! He's wreaking havoc on the city. He has a couple of subordinates that give our bat family some trouble. This issue is mainly about Dick, Damian, and Nightrunner fighting these new villains. The clear fact is that we win and the...

First Word Dada. Hine has turned one of the simplest concepts, one of the first words a child ever learns, and defined this comic with it. It's something not many people will get (Honestly I only know about Dada because of Morrison's Doom Patrol.) But ti's genius. Proof that all of life and death is but a pointless dance of actions and desires.   Altered State Greg Tocchini's artwork still isn't something I'm keen on, but he was actually a good fit for this issue, and it's the first time I can ...

    I Louvre'd this issue....sorry 0

This issue takes place in Paris France, where villains have been freed from Le Jardin Noir (their version of Arkham) and has turned Paris upside down. No really, the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, everything is all topsy-turvy, and nothing makes sense. Batman, Robin, and Nightrunner are attacked by the entire city of Paris, and Robin gets shattered by the villain. Batman figures out what is happening, and they finally get to the real mastermind, which turns out to be the French version of The Joker. ...

The Dynamic Duo in Paris 0

It's funny, I've been wondering what would happen to all these new Batmen from Batman, Inc.  I was sad that only Batman of Africa was getting his own book.  And with Batman, Inc ending - what would become of the rest of the Bat-UN?  Well, this...this is what will happen.  These new characters will appear in other books when Batman leaves Gotham.  It's a shame because Batman is almost always in Gotham so does that mean we won't see these guys?  Well, probably not for a few months after the revamp...
