    Enter, the White Knight 0

The GoodTomasi has managed to capture (to a somewhat lesser degree) everything I originally loved about this book, minus the giant bigger picture that Morrison painted. Dick and Damian's interaction is amusing as always, the freaky new villain doesn't disappoint, and it's action packed.  The BadThere's just a lingering presence of what this book used to be. While it's great, I still know just how great the book used to be. Tomasi and Gleason haven't had a real chance to make the book theirs and ...

Who Is The White Knight? 4

Peter Tomasi and Patrick Gleason continue telling the story of Batman and Robin in the 'Tree of Blood' story arc.   The Good  There's one thing about Peter Tomasi you can't overlook- he knows how to write Dick Grayson. In fact, Tomasi was responsible for many of Dick's most interesting stories; and he seems to make ample use of that skill in the second part of this story arc.   I am a firm believer in the idea that the hero is only as good and interesting as his or her adversary- and even though...

    YES! 0

After buying my ongoings and being sourly dissapointed with a few of the bat family issues I was so happy to get to this one. I was on the fence about the 1st part of this storyline but the second part blew me out of the water. I feel this series has got stronger and stronger since morrisons departure. We are introduced to a new interesting villian, with an original MO in choosing victims and carrying out his crimes. I really did not want to put this issue down. I love Bruce as Batman but Dick b...

    Batman and Robin #21 0

Dr. Langstrom's insane rantings from last issue begin to make sense. Dick and Damian have their first confrontation with the White Knight. And the method to the White Knight's madness is revealed.  The Good This week's cover is leaps and bounds better than last issue's saltless cracker offerings.   Gleason's Artwork is nearly flawless this issue and really brings Tomasi's excellent script to life. The image of Dr. Langstrom's family angelically garbed is truly unnerving. Especially the close up ...

    White Knight Strikes Again! 0

The White Knight makes his first appearence this issue gave me chills woooh we still don't know if Man-Bat survived I guess maybe not in the issue but his family is the survive spoiler. We learn the White Knight's motives and who the man who died in the first issue was.  Such a good story. Pat Gleasons Art is good but inconsistant some panels are amazing but others are ehh. SPOILERS!  The victoms are all relatives of villains the guy who died in the first issue is Zsac's brother Mad Hatters fami...

    "Goodbye Darkness" 0

Within this issue, we would see more of the White Knight and how truly dark he is, despite his goals to bring light into Gotham. Batman and Robin #21 is one of the very few issues that really gives off a wonderful pace that I personally can compare to the short Batman episodes within the DCAU. Taking a whole new look within Gotham City, it’s villains, and even the new Dark Knight himself, we’re introduced to a new villain that strives to give Gotham the completely opposite treatment that Batm...

    White Vs. Dark! 0

In this story continuing from Batman & Robin #20, the dynamic duo are encountering suicidal victims, elaborately dressed as angels, who seem to have no memory of why they were going to jump. A new villain known as The White Knight appears, painstakingly choosing his or her victims from Gotham's population of unsuspecting citizens. But there's something special about the people that The White Knight is choosing -- they're all relatives of super villains in Arkham Asylum! Can Dick Grayson find...

Gotham needs a White Knight 0

Now that Tomasi revealed more about of what motivates the "White Knight" (I must admit he´s a very strange character and I hope his origin will be good), it´s easy to say that this arc story is a massive combination of great dialogues, excellent art and splendid story. The detective work that Alfred, Dick and Damian did to discover what´s behind the strange "angels" falling from the skies is entertaining, intelligent and completely interesting, especially for someone like me who aren´t as much i...
