    What missing in this story?

Yes, Grant Morrison is gone, but, that's not the answer I'm looking for. There is something literally missing in this issue.

    Pros:
Paul Cornell, who is currently writing Knight and Squire, makes his first debut in Batman and Robin, and while his writing is very different from Grant Morrison, he still delivers a pretty twisted story especially at the end. Una Nemo, a former girlfriend of Bruce was recently killed, but the body was mysteriously dug up from her grave and returned. This all leads to Batman and Robin stopping a strange wedding. One aspect that's different from Cornell's writing is that he adds humor into the mix. Dick is joking around a little bit more while maintaining the cowl and Damian is...well Damian. I've been seeing Dick change a little bit lately since Bruce came back with other writers out there.

    Cons:
The story starts off very slow. It's an unusual story, but the pacing is just off.
I don't know why, but the art just feels off. It looks decent and it should fit the kind of story that Cornell provides, but some pages just look odd.

Overall:  Easy, but slow that's how I overall feel about Paul Cornell's writing right now. After Grant Morrison's run on Batman and Robin, I think it's well deserved. Now if we do something about the art, we might be in better business.

Batman and Robin, for all intents and purposes has acted as the premiere Batman book the past year and a half, but with Grant Morrison leaving the title to write Batman Inc., would Batman and Robin fall behind as just another Batman book?  The quick answer: No.  Batman and Robin will continue to be one of the best Batman books, if not the best out, until it proves itself otherwise.  Originally this issue was set to be the introduction of the new creative team for the series, Peter Tomasi and Pat...

      A new villain incorporated. 0

Batman and Robin #17 It looks like most of the Batman titles lay under the Batman Incorporated arc now. So basically in this issue Dick and Damian are tracking down a new crime and trying to solve the mystery of a dead woman. Her name is Una Nemo and Bruce used to be fond of her. She's dead now and there is a peculiararity to the finding of her body"parts".  Dick and Damian come face to face with the woman behind the plan at the last scene of the issue.  THE GOOD! I have a feeling that the Batma...
