    Eat to Live 1

Tomasi is going crazy. The cover is very bone chilling with the red hue enveloping everything with the eclipse in the background casting over the undead Batman and Robin.....Eeek.Batman has a damn rocket-ship.....seriously. A tank? Fine. A Jet? Sure. A submarine? Okay, whatever. But a damn rocket-ship??? Don't any of you say "Well he needs it for the Watchtower." No he takes the Star Trek route and beams himself up. Why in the ass would Batman need a rocket-ship? If Batman is fighting Aliens then...

    Da heck?! 0

This was probably the worst issue of Batman and Robin so far.Synopsis: I found this book a little confusing, but here goes: besides the new threat (the return of the Joker), Batman and Robin now also have to deal with zombies that keep saying ´´Eat to Live``. And that explains the title of this review. The Good: One good thing about this book (one of the few, unfortunately) is the fact that I`m starting to like Damian more and more with each new issue. I love how he is a cold blood murderer (at l...

    Zombies in Gotham 2

I have been a fan of Batman and Robin since way back when Grant Morrison started it during Batman Reborn. However since he left the series has been a bit hot and cold, and the New 52 series is continuing that trend. I do like the art in this issue, both from Pat Gleason and Tomas Giorello, although they are a bit different and I'm not a fan of that in comics. I don't mind different artist on different issue or even back stories but I prefer comics with one artist all the way through. This issue B...

The Psychotic Perspective: Batman and Robin #13 1

EclipsedBatman and Robin has been a fun though not particularly deep series. Damian is always entertaining; even those that hate Damian love to hate him. Last month’s zero issue was especially good giving readers an action packed look into Damian’s bloody origin. However, this is a new month and a completely new story arc. Does this new chapter elevate Batman and son to even greater heights, or do the bat and bird take a drastic plunge in quality? While the threat of Joker hangs over Gotham’s hea...

    The Walking Dead Gothamites 0

The first seven pages of this book make the read worth it. The interaction between Bats and Damian is priceless. After this, things kinda go downhill, but if you like zombies, you will enjoy the issue! Please check my mini-review of Batman and Robin #13 here:http://bit.ly/SZHDUwComments and feedback are always welcome!...

Trying Way Too Hard To 'Fit In' 0

This issue alone is pretty mediocre, but that cover is GLORIOUS. The overwhelming black and red with a skeletal Batman and Robin atop a pedestal of bones and death in front of an eclipse? And the sort of 'totem pole' poses for the two of them centered in the cover is just amazing, along with the logo at the top on the rim of the eclipse.nd thAnd this issue comes in with a great start, there's a nice scene with Batman and Robin that really emphasizes the father/son bond between them. Up in the sk...

Don't see the point of this story 0

Okay, so I'm reading this as a part of the Death of the Family epic. Maybe my input would be different if I could relate the content of this comic to the context of the Batman & Robin series. I am not gonna give this to much time because I didn't like it that much. The story and the series centres around Damian Wayne, a character I really like. In this issues he is not given that much space to evolve. He's sleeping, getting a lecture from Batman, being attacked by some frog mercenary and th...
