Zur-En-Augh.
OK, so Batman fights some costumed dude in a sewer and gets cut up, goes home, heals up and shows Jezebel the Batcave for the first time. But when she sees the place, she starts to question Bruce's sanity.
Elsewhere, Gordon's trying to prevent a story concerning Bruce's parents from getting public without evidence, and is shocked when he see it. Common sense tells us it's an elaborate hoax, but whatever.
And the Black Glove carry out their plan by hacking the Batcomputer and infiltrating the place after Bruce passes out or has a seizure or something. It isn't clear what happened. Apparently, the crook in the sewer was working for the Glove and his knife was laced with poison or something.
The part that really bugged me was how Bruce was blabbing on an on about how much he loves Jezebel. I'm sorry, but I don't buy it. Didn't a story right before this one have Bats spill his guts to Catwoman? I can buy that one, because of how long the characters have known each other. I've never even heard of Jezebel Jet! (What kind of name is that, anyway?)
So anyway, it ends at a cliffhanger with Hurt's goons beating the crap out of Alfred and setting the Batcave on fire.
Who the heck are the Black Glove anyway? And will it's members friggin talk for once? Seriously, the look completely uninteresting as characters. Maybe if someone other than the boss talked so that we could see more of their personalities, maybe they'd get interesting.
Whatever. Let's see how this story continues.
