    A Cat in the Roof

Again I´m struck with the lush, vivid and remarkable art of Jim Lee, both in the action panels and the emotionals flashbacks involving younger Bruce and his friend Tommy. I´m not confortable only with the fact that Loeb doesn´t seem to care for a chronological reality since Batman is already back in action so quick, without a proper time to recover, and the worst thing is that he goes toe-to-toe with Killer Croc and doesn´t even complains about a pain or two (just a little reminder: he broked his shoulder and his skull - and yes, those wounds take a little time to heal Mr. Loeb!).

Despite these little set backs I really enjoyed this issue, mostly because of Batman´s ruse to discover who´s behind Killer Croc and Catwoman´s actions and also that he knows someone is screwing with him. This mental game that´s on is very interesting and brings a great element of narrative into this story. I like the direction that the story is leading but the best in this series is Jim Lee, no doubt about it. If you´re a fan of his work, this is highly recommended!

Writer Jeph Loeb also gives us a little more insight into Tommy Elliot's somewhat troubled past and his relationship with Bruce. We also...
