Batman lies brutally wounded on the streets of Crime Alley open to attack by thugs. Oracle sends Huntress to help the wounded Batman. After beating up the thugs, Huntress takes Batman to the Batcave.

Elsewhere, Pamela figures out Catwoman has been a sneaky kitty cat.

Poison Ivy gives the girl a punishment and gives the money to a man called Hush. Alfred tries his best to help Bruce but needs the help of Tommy Elliot.

The 2nd issue in the hush story arc begins with batman lying paralyzed in crime alley surrounded by regular gang members, the issue them quickly progresses and we see the arrival of another great character huntress, who saves batman from the thugs surrounding him, the story then moves along at a steady pace and we see batman recover and the arrival of an unnamed anonymous figure who poison ivy is working with and is clearly going to be one of the villains in the story. Story  The story moves along from scene to scene at a very quick pace, taking Batman from paralysis to full recovery within 22 pages. And yet it is so enthralling, it's difficult to notice. Writing The writing is very clever and touching at times. I loved it when Huntress showed up with such style, only to be confused for Batgirl. And it's touching to find Batman reminiscing about those who are nearest and dearest to him during his time of greatest need. True to form, the thugs in crime alley ar...
