    Batman #47 - The Origin of Batman by the_detective on August 29, 2008

    This was the first issue naming Joe Chill as the murderer of Bruce Waynes parents. It has been reprinted many times but I never get enough of it . Bill Finger makes  Batman history a little richer here. Finger expanded on Batmans origin by crafting a normal story of investigating a crime and Batman coming across a picture of his parents killer accidentally.
