    What a bargain!

I picked up a decent copy of this issue for 20 cents.  I tell you, I got a bargain.  This is one I will read again.  I was pulled in from the beginning.  Read like a great crime novel to me.  We find Batman investigating a murder of a young woman that was cut up and left in a dumpster.  Shortly thereafter finds himself helping out with a fire rescue.  He finds rescues Kate Babcock.  When he meets up with her as Bruce Wayne, he instantly finds a bond.  They become fast friends, until she's murdered and left in a dumpster.
Oh, it gets better.  We really see some emotion from the Dark Knight, who can be quite stoic at times.  It's really getting to him, it's affecting the Batman.  He's struggling keeping his emotions in check and feels the guilt when there is another murder.
It is really hard for me to find anything wrong with this issue.   About the only thing I could find wrong was that I didn't have the conclusion to this story.  I found out with a little searching that this storyline continues in 421 and 422.  You know what I'm going to be searching for now!  I gotta find them somewhere! This story is too good for me not to find out what happened!
I can highly recommend this issue.
