    BatWatch Review: Batman #20 0

Nowhere ManTis time for another thrilling tale of Batman as written from the pen (keyboard) of Scott Snyder. Snyder, (former writer for Detective Comics and Vertigo's American Vampire and current writer of Batman and Talon) as we all know, has been tearing it up on Batman ever since the launch of the DCNU with some massive story arcs, but Batman #19 and #20 represent the first time he has slowed thing down and told a shorter, if not less intense, story. Last issue started with a bang showing us ...

WARNING THERE BE SPOILERS!!!Clayface is Bruce Wayne, or Bruce Wayne is Clayface? A lot of mistaken identity is happening over in the pages of Batman, and this month is no different. Clayface is on a mission to extort as much money from people he is imitating and he has targeted Bruce Wayne. With Clayface's new ability to imitate anyone he touches, Batman is going to have to be extra careful. Also James Tynion IV finishes the back-up from last month with Supes teaming up with Bruce to take o...

    Hello Fan-Service 0

It has been WAY too long since I posted any reviews. Pressures of my senior year at college meant I had to cut out certain past times and sadly that included these reviews. However, now that summer is upon us, I am once again free to start reviewing again. I'd go back and review all the comics I've picked up in the intervening time, but if I did that I'd never get caught up, so let's just start with what I picked up last week and go from there. This is Batman #20In the last issue we learned that...

Okay I've got to say, that was a good Damian Wayne reference 1

The finale of Batman Vs. Clayface and The Ghost Lights. The GoodThe two greatest scenes in this issue. With this being just a two issue story arc, I'm glad that Scott Snyder wrapped this story up quickly. Clayface's shape-shifting ability becoming more advanced was interesting, however the villain is not interesting enough to carry on into a four or five issue long story arc. He is not like the Joker who can carry on a comic book on his own. Scott Snyder wasted no time at introducing the story la...

I'm a huge Batman fan, and have been extremely happy with how the series has been handled under the wing of Scott Snyder, these last couple of years, and although it's not always been perfect, it's always been unique, and interesting, and I can't wait to see what he has in store with Zero Year.PlotAfter being attacked by Clayface, Bruce, and Lucius Fox have to escape death, and Batman has to find a way of defeating this new and improved Clayface.Ghost Lights Part 2Batman, and Superman continue t...
